Swarts who turned 13 this month has received widespread attention in the Netherlands media over the past 12 months for his incredible skills whilst serving as a ball boy for Eerste Divisie side MVV s first-team games. Having left Johannesburg in 2019 after his father Lionel took employment in Europe, it s been an incredible rise to prominence for the skilful forward, while his brother Pharrel (17) has also excelled in the academy of the Dutch side. Both talents played for Randburg in Mzansi before continuing their journeys abroad and Riley has now taken a major step forward by agreeing to join one of the best youth set-ups in Europe with Genk ahead of next season.
