The intercept is reporting that the Russian Military Intelligence Group executed a cyber attack on at least one u. S. Software supplier. The report indicates that russian hacking may have penetrated further into the u. S. Voting systems than was previously understood. In fact, just an hour after the story was posted authorities announced the arrest of the contractor who allegedly leaked that report, according to nbc news. Intelligence sources say this document, while interesting, doesnt tell them a whole lot they didnt already know.
