Why many NE Ohio fans can’t watch Cleveland Indians games, and other answers about the team’s streaming and TV deals

They are an intriguing team to watch, frustrating at times, exhilarating at others.
A large number of Northeast Ohio fans, however, are on the outside looking in when it comes to watching the Indians on TV. The trend started toward the end of the 2020 season when Sinclair Broadcast Group, which owns the Regional Sports Network that carries Indians games, could not reach new contracts with several streaming platforms and cable/satellite providers.
Now Indians games are available only to select cable and satellite providers and streaming services.

I like the old time sound of games and like to hear crackle of lightning when storms are near. Brings me back to (Hall of Fame announcer) Ernie Harwell growing up in Motor City to Tigers games.
