In recent years Britting Oleson has been awarded several residencies; she has had stories, poems, and book reviews published in literary magazines worldwide, and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize, as well as an award for Best Of The Net. She has taught English and creative writing for more than 30 years, to both high school and adult students. She is a founding member of Simply Not Done, a women’s reading, writing, and teaching collective.
