Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is seeking to vacate the stay imposed on its plan to demolish Signature View Apartments in north Delhi. DDA has approached the high court to vacate the stay order. The court had ordered DDA not to take any coercive steps against the residents who have challenged the authority s move. DDA argues that the apartments are not fit for habitation and pose a threat to life. The court has asked DDA to file its proposal by way of an affidavit.
RWA secretary of Signature View Apartments, Gaurav Pandey, said that the notices were placed in four blocks by the MCD staff and it applied to all the apartments in 12 towers.
