The randomisation of supplementary ballot units (BU) for the Ludhiana Parliamentary constituency was conducted in the presence of general observer Divya Mittal and district election officer Sakshi Sawhney. Three ballot units will be allotted to each polling booth.
Police arrested two men for attacking two brothers on Friday night and robbing them of cash and mobile phones. The incident was captured on CCTV, leading to the arrest of two suspects. A hunt is on for their accomplice.
Three persons, including a woman, were injured in a head-on collision between a truck and car in Khanna. The injured are Kaur, 65, her nephew Lakhwinder Singh (30) and Manpreet Singh. They were on their way to Khanna from a gurdwara in Goh village on Khamaon road when their car collided with a truck. Manjeet Kaur’s condition was stated to be serious.
