But a group of israeli students says one demonstration got scary fast when protesters broke down the door of their oncampus event. Our itay hod spoke with a student who was forced underground to escape. I saw a girl get grabbed by the neck and shoved. I saw my friend get spat at. And i saw just how much anger and hatred they had towards us at this moment. Reporter for about half an hour last week, sharon, a 19yearold berkeley student, says she feared for her life. Here we go, heavy rain, even thunder hitting the bay area for the friday commute and an intense winter storm is pounding the sierra for a second day. The blizzard conditions expected to last until sunday and you can see just what they are dealing with. In fact, this semi Truck Driving slowly through donner pass along interstate 80 through the blinding snow and Hurricane Force winds. And the people who are on the roads arent getting very far. Caltrans cameras show a line of big rigs just parked. Look at them. No cars there. This is at castle peak. Traffic is held for a couple miles east of baxter to the nevada state line because of multiple spinouts. We bring it back here to the bay area. Some rumbles of thunder later on today were going to get in some sun and a little bit of rain to start, and then more downpours throughout the afternoon. Heres a look at live doppler seven. We can see the lightning bolts in north of ukiah and the blizzard still growing strong in the Sierra Nevada. Wind gusts up to 80 miles an hour. Over 100 miles an hour at our peaks. Look at the heavy rain from crockett to hercules down through richmond. 580 and 680 towards walnut creek. Snow mixed in with lighter rain from yountville. Highway 12 and eldridge, and then back towards the coast and mill valley. Mount tam some snow, more rain, the richmondsan rafael bridge there and then a cell right about to move into San Francisco. Afternoon, several streets remain shut down. Kron 4 s Charles Clifford has the details. Now from santa rosa. Well, here in santa rosa, the Investigation Continues into an Early Morning pursuit and shooting that has left 4 deputies injured. And one suspect that according to the Sonoma County Sheriffs Office just after midnight monday, deputies responded to reports of a person brandishing a rifle in an unincorporated area of west santa rosa. When deputies arrived on scene, the suspect fled in a vehicle. Deputies pursued according to the Sheriffs Office. At one point, the suspect a man stopped and fired multiple shots at the deputies. They returned fire. 4 deputies were injured. One was shot in the leg. 2 other suffered hand injuries and the 4th was shot in the head following the exchange of gunfire. The suspect drove away and crashed his vehicle a short time later near stoney point road between bellevue avenue and todd road in west santa rosa. The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene
