That is where when you see the completely highlighted yellow area, where we have a flood watch in effect for today through tonight. That means walking out the door getting the kids off to school you will be experiencing someponding and throughout the urban areas and small stream possibility of flooding rock and mud sloyd threat but you see red highlighted area thats where flooding is eminent and throughout the north bay. You note areas around sonoma highway 37. You note spots throughout the santa know the spots throughout the Santa Clara Valley and this is the scene towards the Golden Gate Bridge wb where we have wet pavement light precipitation falling out there. Look carefully and closely at the lights and you can see light rain. Temperatures are in the 40s to santa rosa to 47. San francisco and redwood city but cold enough to be snowing in the Mount Hamilton area. Thats whats going on right now.
Unfortunately. I do want to mention that we have slow traffic this morning, if you are drive on 580, coming in from the Altamont Pass. Lets go ahead and take a look at that. Stop and go traffic on 205, and on 580, as your make your way into the livermore area. No major problems driving into livermore or pleasanton. Its does continue to be very slow. By the time you reach livermore, it looks good. We have a new injury crash reported as an overturned vehicle, northbound 101. This one just came in. Theyre sending fire and medics. Chp is not there yet. Im hearing them talk about it. Looks like it could be at least blocking one lane. The other freeways are pretty decent alternate, 280, and 85, instead of using 101. Loving and getting ready to start college. Chp was waiting for the water to go down a bit to retrieve that vehicle. In the meantime this stretch of highway 37 could be closed until saturday. This is between nevada and spring streets, crews spent most of the day patching up the area, removing near by brush. Officials have not said when the lanes will reopen.
