Building robots and things and i was watching the news, seeing what was happening in my home state, i went to the university of virginia. watching heather and all of these things happen. and i was just appalled and i felt like i needed to be there. i was almost ready to get back home and help people who are there. and i can t believe, you know, the administration, would allow something like this to go on in our country. i mean allowing it to go on would be benign. it almost seems when you look at all of the time as a nasa astronaut, you know that one of those times of national grief is when we had shuttle disasters and that is where the first thing that happens is the president does things to bring people together. you just heard people saying why is that not happening here. the president is going in a different direction. columbia happened in 2003. now we re hearing a president talking about confederate, you know, statues and their legacy ....
