Choose. but realistically, what can the federal government do at this point to protect abortion access? there are certain things that the federal government can do. so far example, yesterday the attorney general came out and said that states could not prevent individuals from taking an fda approved drug that would induce an abortion. even if states where it is prohibited. that will be challenged and the court might be hostile to that. but they will be hostile to any federal governments to try to protect a woman s right to choose. so that is just a legal lan escape. but does that doesn t mean that federal government shouldn t try. the hide amendment could be overturned and license clinics that are involved in inner state commerce to have abortions. there are things to do to address the state of affairs. justice thomas wrote that ....
