Okay. we have two big breaking news stories for you. one, what is happening in perry high school in perry, iowa, where there are multiple people who have been shot at a high school there. this shooter, we have now confirmed through a law enforcement source through evan perez that the shooter has been killed. we do not know the status of any of those who have actually been shot, who they are, whether they are students or faculty or teachers, and we do not know that information yet. the sheriff is holding that right now as he is trying to contact the family members. we know it happened around 7:37. that the police got there around seven minutes later. we are still waiting for information there for those who are injured. but another mass school shooting and the fourth this year. and one each and everyday if you are looking at the statistical calculation there which is a complete tragedy. and now to the middle east. ....
Live shooter on campus, and now that shoot er is in custody, an this is a public college not far from oklahoma city, and what are you learning? yes, this is a situation that is still developing, but right now, the officials in midwest city which is just outside of oklahoma city just east of the city say that there is one male victim who has died and the shooter is in custody. within the last hour, rose state college officials have been urging the students on campus, and administrators to shelter in place while the police are on scene there and while the aerial footage is there, and the police are on campus, and they did capture what appears to be the body of a person laying on the ground next to the campus building. we don t know if it is the victim or the shooter that is in custody. that is the scene that ....

Media incredibly important. the el paso times, erin is a watchdog reporter for the newspaper who joins me here. walk us through where you were yesterday. how you began to grasp what happened here with the shooting. sure. well generally, el paso media gets alerts from the police department about any incident, car crashes, if there s shooting in other part of town and just like aus, i received a message from the police saying there was an active shoot er at the walmart. you know right behind us. so it was about 11:30 a.m. i made my way here. found where ever i could go. i found myself in a spot where a lot of the people who had at walmart at the time of the shooting were starting to make their way out over to city buses so they could make their way back to their families and really that s when i really starteded to process just exact hi the magnitude. just being able to sense the people s emotions. and how draining these things were. morgan just a ago talking ....
