New reporter hired at South Dakota News Watch | South Dakota News Watch


Journalist Danielle Ferguson of Sioux Falls has joined South Dakota News Watch as its second full-time investigative reporter.
Ferguson comes to News Watch from the Argus Leader of Sioux Falls, where she most recently served as the Watchdog Reporter for Law and Order. Ferguson, a native of Salem, South Dakota, spent the past five years in eastern South Dakota covering breaking news, municipal government, the prison system and the law enforcement community for the Argus Leader.
Ferguson is a graduate of Iowa State University, where she served as editor of the college paper. She joins South Dakota News Watch as our second full-time investigative reporter. ....

Media incredibly important. the el paso times, erin is a watchdog reporter for the newspaper who joins me here. walk us through where you were yesterday. how you began to grasp what happened here with the shooting. sure. well generally, el paso media gets alerts from the police department about any incident, car crashes, if there s shooting in other part of town and just like aus, i received a message from the police saying there was an active shoot er at the walmart. you know right behind us. so it was about 11:30 a.m. i made my way here. found where ever i could go. i found myself in a spot where a lot of the people who had at walmart at the time of the shooting were starting to make their way out over to city buses so they could make their way back to their families and really that s when i really starteded to process just exact hi the magnitude. just being able to sense the people s emotions. and how draining these things were. morgan just a ago talking ....
