One, this area is red Flag Warning until 11 00 tonight which means the conditions are ripe for the kind of extreme Fire Behavior that weve been witnessing from our Vantage Point here atop echo summit. As you travel to the east we are seeing more of the yellow dots, moderate Air Quality and more of that smoke pushing in today. Our model by 3 00 this afternoon, its going to be very unhealthy. Long periods of time outside. Were going to be smelling the smoke and possibly not seeing a lot of sunshine as more of the smoke moves in. Such a tough time. Thank you. Its discouraging new developments on the front lines of the Caldor Wildfire. It is advancing towards Lake Tahoe. Evacuation warnings are in place for people who live close to the tahoe basin. This as the fire grew by another 13,000 acres with no change in containment. 12 contained with 140,000 acres burned. Strong winds continue to fan the flames.
