At least 31 patients died at a government hospital in Maharashtra's Nanded from September 30 to October 2. The hospital said the deaths happened as the patients were suffering from various ailments and they "were in their last stage".
Patil urged that the hospital's doctors be held accountable for the fatalities that occurred between September 30 and October 2, and that a murder case be filed against all of them.
