Beachwood’s food delivery program gets national attention: Press Run

The city of Beachwood has received national attention for its Beachwood Delivers program, which allows for free delivery of food from the city s restaurants to its residents. The idea was conceived by the city s community services director Karen Carmen.

National attention: The city of Beachwood has received national attention for its Beachwood Delivers service, in which six drivers are at work delivering to residents food orders of $25 or more. There is no delivery fee for the service (although tips are welcome), which is working in collaboration with 10 Beachwood restaurants. ....
