The city of Beachwood has received national attention for its Beachwood Delivers program, which allows for free delivery of food from the city's restaurants to its residents. The idea was conceived by the city's community services director Karen Carmen.

National attention: The city of Beachwood has received national attention for its Beachwood Delivers service, in which six drivers are at work delivering to residents food orders of $25 or more. There is no delivery fee for the service (although tips are welcome), which is working in collaboration with 10 Beachwood restaurants.
