A bipartisan group of senators have been working on the details of an Infrastructure Bill for a month after reaching an agreement on what they called the basic framework of the legislation a month ago in a meeting with President Biden at the white house. It is not unusual at all for it to take at least a month or more to figure out the details of that. After a weekend of work it seemed like today might be the day that the bipartisan group could bring their bill to the Senate Floor and begin debate.
