Dixie Swim Club to Texas for this year s offering of Dashing Through the Snow. Add in some other Thompson Playhouse regular favourites, such as Serena Puranen, a lawyer who works for Manitoba Legal Aid, and Kevin Hopton, a technology and trades instructor at the University College of the North here, who starred last November as the duplicitous Saul Watson (aka Dr. Rex Forbes) in Play On!, in which Puranen played Violet Imbry (aka Lady Lassiter). Both also performed in the Thompson Playhouse dinner theatre murder mystery Come Dine With Us (Puranen as everyone s best friend, Cherry Bakewell, and Hopton as salad chef Chris P. Duck) in March 2012. ....
