You know it was i think theres some theres a thread to pull on, though, with the breakdown of those numbers. With 3 of those 11 being the 3 republican members of the house from south florida, all of whom were contacted by parkland families saying stand with us and not with her, please. For our kids, for our families, for what weve been through. And all 3 of the south Florida Republicans did that. There is something there thats powerful in terms of what those families have been able to do to turn their grief and loss into something constructive for the country and also to use it to force people to confront the humanity behind these issues. And it is i mean, Fred Guttenberg is an incredibly articulate spokesman for what he believes. I have to say i dont know where they get the strength to do it. Im just amazed by Fred Guttenberg and other parents who ha

I remember a day in this country not long ago where two parties maybe disagreed on policy and they would argue things out, but they didnt disagree on facts. They didnt disagree on working for the American People. This party today gave up on that. It is shocking. So if they want to keep her around, if they want to continue to give her this platform, it only hurts the bigger party. What this means, 199 republicans care more about the qanon vote than victims of mass School Shootings. Today Marjorie Taylor greene stated as much, declaring the Party Takeover officially complete, as if that wasnt already clear, telling reporters explicitly, quote the party is his, Donald Trumps. It doesnt belong to anyone else. That statementunder scores the warnings from republican senator ben sasse last night in a too little too late Scree

In june of 1973 during testimony before the Senate Watergate committee, mr. Dean implicated president nixon and administration officials, including himself in the watergate coverup. He later pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice for his role in watergate and served four months in prison. Discovering the tapes system, was it lucky or inevitable, is what were looking at. The nixon taping the whole story of the nixon tapes has been only partially told. Its taken me years to gather and find out what happened. Since its one of the most important factors in the watergate story, i think its important to get that history straight, and were going to try to do that in a very summary fashion today. Before i start, though, i would like to remind you that other president s did tape, starting with franklin roosevelt, who used a when they first went to talking movies and they had a soundtrack, he had a system that was put in the oval office that was recorded. Im going to try a very, very quick sam
