The Securities and Exchange Commission announced its enforcement statistics for its 2022 FY noting it filed 760 total enforcement actions. This total was comprised of 462 new actions, 169 follow on actions, and 129 actions for delinquent filings and totaled to $6.439 billion
The SEC announced 20 new positions for the Crypto Assets and Cyber Unit within Division of Enforcement. Increase will nearly double unit size. Personnel increase will include supervisors, investigative staff attorneys, trial counsels, fraud analysts.
