More than 300,000 homes without power in new york city. 3. 6 million along the east coast. Already its been a deadly storm. At least ten deaths reported. Now, as of 11 30 pennsylvanias Utility Company reported more than 1 Million People were without power in that state. The Associated Press reports thats about 20 of the states electric customers. Since then i understand one person was killed after a tree fell on a house in berks county. Whats going on in philly . In philadelphia we do have some significant, for us, significant power outage. About 40,000 customers without power. Pico energy is our provider. They do an excellent job under these circumstances, getting people back online. About 400,000 in the region, and so, again, thats a significant number, but i am quite confident that they will

But, again, no reports of any injuries. And police are hoping that the water will gibbbegin to recede soon. Renee . Ted i got to ask you, you know this area really better than anyone. Is it common to have these sorts of stranded situations in toms river and seasides when the rain comes down like this . Reporter well, you know, toms river and Seaside Heights and seaside park certainly see their share of flooding. Postally, though from tidal issues. This was not a tidal issue, though. This was not a result of the tide getting too high. They do see flooding. But not to this extent. This was really way too much rain that came down in short amount of time in a short amount of time.
