We also have the weapon recovered that the victims used to fight back. Corey ford says one of the suspects told them where to find the guns. He says the teens hid the weapons in someones yard in the southern part of greenville county, and the homeowner had no clue the guns were there. Those are stolen weapons that we recovered. Corey ford says a shooting like this is uncommon in mauldin, and he says the community should not worry. We dont see very much of that here, especially on that end of town, and with that restaurant. You know, the driver of the truck heard pounding when he was sitting there driving around 6 30 this morning and found out he had picked up more than his usual cardboard load. And he instinctively drove a couple of blocks here to this fire station where he got firefighters and they rescued the man that could have died if not for the quick actions of that driver. The dumpster went out this morning, the individual ended up getting tracked. Reporter San Francisco firefighters, even the veterans, are calling it a first. Pulling a man out of the back of a cardboard recycling truck on to a backboard and metal stretcher. The man, who may have lost his shoe in the mix, suffered shoulder injuries, forced to wear a brace. Stephanie ramirez was there. Reporter police tell us it happened before noon but one thing is not clear is whether the suspect was tried to rob the bank. Reporter two Police Officers arrived in minutes after noon today after they received a call for a trespasser at this bank. The commander couldnt say if the man was a regular customer. Employees felt he was acting erratically and attempted to make contact with a man but instead called us. Reporter when the officers arrived a witness, a customer, said an employee advised him to go and Police Ordered the suspect to freeze. His cousin described what he saw inside. [ speaking Foreign Language ] put his hands right here. On his waist. Reporter did he have a gun . [ speaking Foreign Language ] only thing he did was put his hand on his waist. The suspect did not have a gun but a knife. He showed the officers before one officer fired and killed the man. [ speaking Foreign Language ] he didnt think nothing like that.
