The Caribou Public Library will host a special informational session with Cary Medical Center Health Educator, Nancy Holmquist from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24, and Thursday, Aug. 25.
Thanks to grant funding received from Maine Cancer Foundation, Cary Medical Center’s Screen Aroostook for Lung Cancer initiative will be working to increase the number of low-dose CT screenings among individuals who are considered high-risk for developing lung cancer.
