EDWARDSVILLE – A Godfrey man faces multiple charges of sex assault and sex abuse involving a child for more than four-year period.
Scott A. Hendricks, 51, was charged April 1 with two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, both enhanced Class X felonies, and three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, all Class 2 felonies.
The case was presented by the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.
According to court documents, between December 2016 and February 2021 Hendricks allegedly committed several acts of sexual assault and/or abuse against a now 12-year-old girl. ....

51-year-old Scott A. Hendricks of Godfrey is facing multiple child sex assault and abuse charges with a 12-year-old, that took place over a four-year period.
According to the Telegraph, Hendricks was charged April 1
st with two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, both Class X felonies, and three counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, Class 2 felonies.
Hendricks’ case was presented by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office. According to court documents, the alleged abuse occurred between December 2016 and February 2021 against a now 12-year-old girl. Bail was set at $250,000.
