Snow level is expected to drop to 3500 to 4000 feet, possibly as low as 2500 feet. A weather system will bring a potential for snow to northeastern Trinity County Friday through Saturday. Travel on highways 299 and 3 may be impacted by snow, particularly at Oregon Mountain Summit, Buckhorn Summit and Scott Mountain Pass, the NWS Eureka Facebook page reports. Snowfall totals up to a foot will be possible across the Trinity Alps, including Scott Mountain Summit on highway 3.
