WASHINGTON, D.C. â Congressman Paul Tonko announced that several local public health organizations have been awarded a combined $83,913,889 to be administered by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) funding programs that support local mental health services, crisis response, cancer research, technology systems updates and more.

RICHARD NILSEN The Leader-Herald AMSTERDAM In an April 29 news release, Congressman Paul D. Tonko announced 10 capital projects for his constituents, two of which impact Amsterdam.
These 10 “improvement and community development” projects were compiled from across the Capital Region. He is submitting them to the House Committee on Appropriations in order to bring direct federal investment to the region under the committee’s new Community Project Funding (CPF) process.
