ASADABAD, Afghanistan, June 1 (Xinhua) Two Taliban militants were killed in a premature explosion of a mine they planted in Afghanistan s eastern Kunar province on Tuesday, an army statement released here said. Two Taliban rebels identified as Ziahullah and Azizullah were going to plant a mine on a road in Kanjgal area of Sarkani district in the wee hours of Tuesday but the device exploded prematurely killing both on the spot, the statement said.
