Today, visitors to the 120,000-square-foot building at East Third Street and Founder’s Way must don respirators and protective gear to visit the mold-and asbestos-riddled building that once housed Bethlehem Steel mainframe computers. Local developer Michael Perrucci, who owns it and the adjacent 13-story general office building, sees the smaller annex as the perfect way to launch a phased redevelopment of the site. But first he must environmentally clean-up the annex he hopes to renovate into modern offices. ....
