The Countess of Wessex called for a better education within a period of time and to provide more support for women who are menopausal and for the various challenges that women face as they age.
Sophie Wessex, 56, had a video chat with Sarah Jane Cale, the founder of the “Decent Menopause” website, which provides information for menopausal women And suggested, she said that menopause is “tricky” for her, and it feels like “sha lock”.
Sophie told Sarah: “Indeed, we should celebrate the fact that we don’t need staging anymore-it should be a kind of liberation, but it feels like a ckle lock.” ....

Sophie opens up about her experience of menopause

The Countess of Wessex has spoken about her own experience of going through the menopause, describing losing her train of thought on royal engagements and feeling as if somebody had taken her brain out.
Sophie called for franker conversations surrounding the subject and more support for women as she became patron of the charity Wellbeing of Women.
The 56-year-old countess described hot flushes, memory loss and brain fog – all symptoms of the menopause.
