A San Francisco man suspected of attacking a woman and calling her ethnic slurs at a San Jose train station this week is set to be arraigned Friday afternoon in Santa Clara County Superior Court.
The 26-year-old woman, who is of Asian descent, was waiting for a morning commuter train at Diridon Station about 7 a.m. Wednesday when Johan Strydom allegedly attacked her, police said.
Authorities said Strydom, 32, grabbed the woman by her neck, threw her onto the floor and said (Expletive) you, Asians. ....

The Sharks spotted Colorado a 2-0 lead before storming back to score the next six for a 6-2 win at SAP Center on Monday night.

The Sharks lost Tomas Hertl to the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol list, welcomed three healthy regulars back yet stubbed their toe big time Saturday night.
San Jose wasted two goals each from Evander Kane and Timo Meier when it surrendered three in the third period to the St. Louis Blues, who broke a three-game losing streak with a 7-6 win at SAP Center.
