WINNER: The prize draw cheque for Andy Kendal LAST week’s lucky winner of the Made in Bury Weekly £2,000 Draw was Andy Kendall from Nu Form Fire UK. This was the second win in eight months for Nu Form Fire as apprentice Tom Frankland walked away with the £2,000 last September. With Andy winning on Wednesday, it was another win to thank fantastic boss David for. In June 2020 Nu Form director David Carswell bought 20 tickets and allocated a ticket number to each member of his team. Nu-Form Fire UK, based on Manchester Road in Bury are the UK’s leading independent fire protection contractor. They specialise in fire sprinkler, water spray, deluge, and foam systems. They operate in the UK and Europe and have contracts ranging from small modifications to existing systems, up to multi-million-pound installations.

Online exhibition about Isle of Wight railways opens today | Isle of Wight County Press

Parts of the online Off the Rails exhibition at Quay Arts. RAIL enthusiasts will be pleased to hear an exhibition to celebrate 50 years of the Isle of Wight Steam Railway has gone digital. Off The Rails is now an online exhibition, organised by Quay Arts in partnership with the Havenstreet-based railway. The exhibition will take place from today (Sunday) until March 20. Expect to see artefacts, signs and memorabilia from the attraction s collection, related objects and artworks from the IW Heritage Service Collection, AJ Wells & Sons, as well as a series of works by artists and schools. The exhibition was supposed to be installed in the West Gallery and open to the public, but due to the lockdown restrictions, the organisers have digitised the works and brought the exhibition to life online.
