THE All Progressives Congress in Rivers State loyal to the Transportation Minister, Rotimi Amaechi, on Tuesday celebrated the Supreme Court’s decision to strike out an appeal filed by Igo Aguma in July 2020.
Reacting to the decision of the apex court, the Spokesman for the Amaechi faction of the APC in the state, Chief Ogbonna Nwuke, in a statement titled, ‘We have been vindicated’, hailed the apex court’s decision, describing it as a welcomed development.
Nwuke said the development was a pointer that Aguma’s declaration as a Caretaker Committee Chairman of the APC in the state was in error ab initio.
