They were putting out hot spots for hours. Like i said, just a few minutes ago they started wrapping things up. But there is no word yet on when this fire will be considered contained. I had never seen a city fire spread this fast before. It was amazing. Reporter huge plumes of black smoke billowing into the sky as flames burned six buildings in san franciscos intermission district. The flames were three times as high as the building was. I mean it was fully engulfed back there. Reporter firefighters said the fire started on erie street, the backside of a wholesaler that sells steeled fabricated building supplies. In 10 minutes the whole building was gone. Reporter bruce bartfelt tells me the business was started by his father 75 years ago. This is what it looked like before the fire.
