central pennsylvania really doesn t start for a couple of hours. we re expecting snow maybe late this morning into the early afternoon. we re already seeing the first plow crews arrive here to the depot. they are loading up the trucks and getting ready to head out on roads across the region. they re going to try to clear the snow quickly because they re expecting potentially slick and hazardous continues for a lot of drivers, well the potential for fallen trees and power outages. and pennsylvania s department of transportation alone will have more than 2,000 of these plows out on interstates and major roads across the state, which speaks to the many thousands more that are going to be out from the mid-atlantic all the way up to new england on the state and local level trying to clear this first major storm of the year. what you re looking at behind me, this is the salt dome here in hairrisburg.
