IMPHAL A team of Koireng Youth Organisation (KYO) led by its president, RN Boipu Koireng, and three others called on Manipur Governor, Anusuiya Uikey, and apprised on the prevailing situation arising out of the recent violence in the state and urged the governor to take all possible steps to normalise the situation at the earliest. “The team also earnestly requested the governor to provide security, protection and safety to the Koireng tribe along with the provision of essential commodities,” stated a press release issued by Governor’s secretariat in Imphal on Friday.
