DMK minister, V Senthil Balaji and his wife, S Megala, have moved the Supreme Court challenging the Madras High Court order against the Balaji's release in a money laundering case being probed by the ED.
The arguments in the habeas corpus plea challenging the Minister's arrest concluded today, with Senior Advocate Mukul Rohatgi urging the Court to grant Balaji bail.
A division bench of Justices M Sundar and R Sakthivel said that Justice Sakthivel had some difficulty in hearing the case and hence, it was going to recuse itself from hearing the same.
