we have live team coverage tonight. we begin with jean elle in san mateo, which city is taking what some people consider to be drastic measures, jean. reporter: jessica, here on third avenue in san mateo, it s pretty clear people are not welcome at the parks along the shoreline tomorrow night. signs announcing the park s early closure have been posted all week. police and fire officials say the grass here is just too dry to take any chances. if somebody throws a match or something out here when i m walking, i worry about that. you know? it s a fire, it s going to burn up this beautiful area. reporter: all the dry grass at seal point park in san mateo has deborah worried about fire danger. with views across the bay, police say it s a popular park for people to gather and watch the fireworks on the fourth of july. a lot of families gather. and then eventually you get large groups of adults coming in. and it fills up. quite a bit of congestion. reporter: with high
