The District Attorney’s Office charged Victor Angel Hernandez, 23, with two counts of felony arson of an inhabited structure or property on Via Del Cielo (related to the Loma Fire) and on Loma Alta Drive (a charge stemming from an incident on June 14, 2020), and a felony count of attempt to burn for allegedly attempting to set a fire and burn a structure in the area of McKinley Elementary School between M ....

Consultant Says Santa Barbara Police PIO Had No Conflict of Interest With Cannabis License

Knopf, one of the owners of Golden State Greens, responded to a call from the consultants with a short email, according to the report. 
Knopf said Wagner was a good guy and that he does not know him other than being a city employee.  
The Sintra Group investigator then wrote: We did not attempt to contact him any further.
Consultants conclusion that Wagner did not have a conflict of interest was based on the interviews and news stories, and some opinion pieces published in local media.  
We reviewed the articles and several documents that we were provided. We also reviewed articles found via public records and internet searches. In addition, we conducted interviews with city employees and other individuals pertinent to this investigation to arrive at our finding, the report states. ....
