Hello, im mathew amroliwala. The israeli military says, its expanding its Ground Offensive against hezbollah by moving into a new zone, in south western lebanon. It says it now has some 15,000 soldiers deployed in the south of the country. Hezbollah has fired more than 100 rockets at northern israeli cities and while israel says it shot most of them down, there has been some damage in the Port City of haifa. Amid the fighting, the Deputy Leader of hezbollah has said he supports a call from lebanons parliament, for a ceasefire with israel. Its thought to be the first time hezbollah has called for a ceasefire without tying it to a truce in gaza. 0ur chief international Correspondent Lyse Doucet is in tel aviv.
