LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) The La Crosse Rotary Lights has had a busy year so far, according to Rotarian Pat Stephens.
” It is a fabulous display, we’ve had kind weather and couple those two with a community need ‘to do something,’ and we’re really having a special year. The La Crosse area really needed Rotary Lights this year,” Stephens said.
With 26 of the 35 nights of lights down, the lights has reached its budgeted goal. In addition to the tremendous food collections in the park, the group has accumulated 10 pallets of food to be distributed after Christmas to food pantries that didn’t get nights in the park thanks to help from the La Crosse Jeep Club, Trane, Xcel, Delta Sigma Pi and others.
