Vicki Livermore Police are investigating a double homicide tonight on altamont creek drive. It happened around 430 when officers found two men suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other was pronounced dead on scene. Livermore Police Believe the two men are in their twenties, but they have no suspect information at this time. School district residents go to the polls on May 18 to vote on budgets and members of their local boards for the coming school year. Below are the details on the ballots in 124 districts. Results will be posted here as they become available.

The Great Neck, Lawrence, Hewlett-Woodmere and West Hempstead districts received permission from the state to hold voting on May 11, before the statewide date of May 18, which is also the date of the Jewish holiday Shavuot.
