Queens County Names 2020 Volunteers Of The Year

Photo: Region of Queens Volunteer work has been particularly impactful during the past year and Queens County is recognizing two volunteers in particular for their work. The two volunteers were originally recognized by the Ripple Effect program, which allows Queens residents to nominate individuals they deem worthy. Kendra Shot of Hunts Point, and Ron Shupe of Liverpool, were selected from nine Ripple Effect Volunteer Initiative nominations (representing 12 individuals) received over the past year and named as the Regions Volunteers of the Year.
