it s incredible. dr. peterson, redistribution is another word messrs. ryan and romney like to throw around as if it possessed ma eed magical why yet they are touting a 2006 study in support of the tax plan and this same study says eliminating reductions in loopholes will lead to the, yes, you guessed it, redistribution of tax liability from the upper income level to the middle class. so, doctor, i guess when it comes to studies that the romney/ryan team you know, i guess they re better off they re worse than the blog posts that they use both. we ve got to do a much better job of defining what a study is. what s going on is the romney/radio iromney romney/ryan camp has fused their ideology. that s the reason why they re trying to redefine small businesses as someone like donald trump or some skind of ....
It ends up being a nonstory. that s one thing. the second idea was to send the message to the base of the party, you know, they like those dog whistles. i don t think mitt romney will be able to do that effectively during the course of the debate, because in the debate he has to try to appeal to the middle. i think they wanted to get a little something out there for the base, so is that they would have so that today they could be, you know, talking about that horrible, you know, barack obama, the black man, in advance of the debate. yeah, absolutely, shock, horror, barack obama is a black man. michael, i ve read your outstanding piece in which you talk about the fact that the process of fact-checking by voters has actually declined. it s almost a suggestion we ve had so many lies through this campaign, and i can think of at least 60 delivered by the romney/ryan camp, that people are just not responding to it anymore. you know, the irony is the press is actually much better at cal ....
47% is made up of veterans who have paid their debt to society with blood literally. it s made up of mostly working people, most of that 47% are working americans, working middle class, working poor. hard working who earn less than $30,000 a year. or even $40,000 or $50,000 and many of those many of that 47% is made up of seniors. you know, this network is going to have a new poll later today that s going to show the race tightening and the national numbers but not in the battleground states i think. one of the big reasons for that, one of the big underreported reasons for that is how the romney/ryan ticket has offended seniors. we ve talked about how this ticket offended women, african-americans, hispanics. the big story is how they have offended seniors and how seniors have gone from the romney/ryan camp into the obama camp largely i think because of the ryan plan on medicare, and so that the 47% was poorly answered by ryan, but an equal weight around this ....
Economy over the next four years than the president? that s through no good offices of mitt romney on his own. that s in spite of what mitt romney has done. howard, we have heard so much about the disgruntled folks within the romney/ryan camp. the way it s unfolding in the polls is not good. there s a report that says that romney is beginning to lose donors who were shifting their money to house and senate races. what s going on here? is this starting to take it its toll on the campaign? yes. in many ways what mitt romney s challenge is on wednesday night is to stop the bleeding within his own party and within his own camp. absolutely. behind the scenes, republicans are very worried. some are saying so publically. if mitt romney doesn t reassure them within the first half hour of the debate, they are goners. now you re seeing already, a lot of the independent super pacs ....
So they are desperate to make that carter analogy any way they can. they are probing for weaknesses in the record. what they should have been doing all along is running against president obama s record on the economy. that s what they should have down. the latest washington post poll shows for the first time, mitt romney is slightly better regarded on the question of who will do better leading the economy over the next four years than the president? that s through no good offices of mitt romney on his own. that s in spite of what mitt romney has done. howard, we have heard so much about the disgruntled folks within the romney/ryan camp. the way it s unfolding in the polls is not good. there s a report that says that romney is beginning to lose donors who were shifting their money to house and senate races. ....
