Culture Minister Bogdan Gheorghiu met on Wednesday with the Romanian Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Cristian Istrate, on which occasion he discussed the importance of culture in diplomatic relations, according to AGERPRES. We discussed the importance of culture in diplomatic relations and the projects that Romania and Russia developed in the past. One of them was the organization by the Ministry of Culture of the Romanian Culture Days in the Russian Federation, in 2012. The program included concerts of classical and contemporary music, dance and folk music performances, film presentations, exhibitions of photographic and traditional art, in cities such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, etc, Gheorghiu wrote on Facebook.
