The Transilvania International Film Festival (23 July–1 August, Cluj-Napoca) has always been a promoter of Romanian cinema, but for its 20
th edition, the organisers seem poised to show an exhaustive map of the local film industry: as many as 32 features in the 170-title selection hail from Romania. Twelve features will be competing for the Romanian Days awards, including the FIPRESCI Award.
