On the morning of giant opening day and what seemed like just minutes the park was full of people, exploring this corner of the waterfront. By all accounts, they liked it. We started planning for this day more then 15 years ago. It has been a long journey since our very first workshop at the port. Throughout, it has been a very collaborative process, with active participation from virtually all possible stakeholders.
