(Photo provided) Three Rivers Corp. received three Gold Excellence in Construction Awards and a Platinum award in the Safety Training & Evaluation Process (STEP) from Associated Builders and Contractors of Greater Michigan at the Excellence in Construction 2020 Awards. Shelterhouse in Midland won the Gold Award for best GC/CM: New Construction - $5-$10 Million. This is a design/build of the 25,000-square-foot building containing 15 suites, each designated for a single family. Each suite has its own living space and kitchen area. Two suites were designed specifically to be wheelchair-accessible. ....

No stranger to being out in all types of weather, North gives several reasons why he has spent the last 13 years as a bell ringer. The first is that he likes to help people. He seems to have a knack for remembering people’s names, although he doesn’t really have to work at it. He says that just comes naturally. ....
