David North recently stood outside of Kroger in Midland for a few hours ringing a bell for the Salvation Army s Red Kettle Campaign. No stranger to being out in all types of weather, North gives several reasons why he has spent the last 13 years as a bell ringer. The first is that he likes to help people. (Photo by Niky House)
David North of Midland has participated as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army for the past 13 seasons.
He seems to have a knack for remembering people’s names, although he doesn’t really have to work at it. He says that just comes naturally. ....
