Swimming with a shark, right? absolutely. the drive to the beach is more dangerous than getting in the water, the rift currents and those other things that can be dangerous, yeah, swimming problems, so you want to be careful when you go to the beach. at cape cod and some of the places where big sharks and white sharks are coming come back,that s where you neede careful and pay attention to local advice. you heard in the report there s a lot of effort and lots of technology we can use to make sure that we can know if shark are in the area and we need to pay attention to the local advice. gillian: if that fails, i want pro tips, if you re in the ocean swimming and you see a shark nearby further away, what are you supposed to do? well, most sharks are small and aren t a issue. they are predators. i would only say stay calm, keep an eye on the shark and get out of the water. it s just not worth it. especially with big sharks like white sharks, tiger sharks, bull ....

Coming in from tonga, jeff, what does the water look like where you are? jeff: griff, much different situation here in tonga. here along the west coast of california, we are experiencing a tsunami advisory and what that means is you will see a lot bigger waves here along the coast up and down through oregon and washington anywhere from 1 to 2-foot waves and essentially that means it s going to be dangerous rift currents and they don t want people swimming, boating or doing anything in the water today. this all started from a massive undersea volcano erupting on saturday and that sent large tsunami waves crashing offshore and people in nearby islands to get off the shores and tonga s king evacuated from the royal palace after the tsunami flooded the capital there. we know beyond tonga parts of ....
Live from the weather center with more on this, adam, is it really going to hit? yeah, this one is going the hit. it s been incredibly active out there. we have maria right now, we have josé, even way off to the east we are looking at lee, now that one is not going to be an issue. i m going to pay attention to the first two. josé is the close toast land right now. going to continue to weaken eventually turn to go tropical storm. we will see areas along the east coast get light impacts from this as we are under tropical storm watches and warnings from the mid atlantic stretching to new england today and overnight hours as this makes the move. this is the wind field and you see it really getting close to the coastline, maybe not making it all the way there. if you live in the coast, you will see rains and winds increase over the course of next couple of days as this passes you by. the surf is going to get choppier and talking about possibility of seeing some higher rift currents. ....
