Published January 21, 2021, 1:43 PM The Department of Justice’s Office of the Prosecutor General (DOJ-OPG) has dismissed the complaint filed against Senator Aquilino Martin Pimentel III for allegedly violating quarantine rules in March last year. “The Office of the Prosecutor General, DOJ, resolved to dismiss the complaint against Senator Koko Pimentel for violation of Section 9(e) of R.A. No. 11332 or the ‘Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of the Public Health Concern’ for lack of probable cause,” said OPG spokesperson Prosecution Atty. Honey Delgado in a statement on Thursday, Jan. 21. Meanwhile, former University of Makati law dean Rico Quicho who filed the complaint before the DOJ on April 6, 2020 expressed dismay over the dismissal of the case. ....
